If it is to be stored in cold weather, the apple plucked from the branch should be cooled rapidly and entered into the warehouse. Good quality apples, which are well grown, whose quality programs have been applied, and whose harvest has been done correctly, can be preserved in the quality and freshness of the new branch for 6 to 8 months with the PGR applications to be made in the warehouse.
